Breakthrough Products Being Launched at Le Bourget!

JUNE, 2009 - PARIS AIR SHOW 2009 AT LE BOURGET, FRANCE
CONTROP is launching several new products at the PARIS AIR SHOW 2009!  These new products join the long list of this established company's surveillance and security products which are known and used worldwide due to their unique features.  The CONTROP booth is located in the Israel National Pavilion in Static Area R, where visitors can see these new products for themselves and operate the unique camera systems with a "hands on" approach!

T-STAMP – NEW TRIPLE SENSOR STABILIZED MINIATURE PAYLOAD
FOR SMALL UAVs AND SMALL AIRCRAFT

The T-STAMP is a new, breakthrough product being launched for the first time at the PARIS AIR SHOW 2009!  This brand new revolutionary camera payload system is the first of its kind on the market, due to its three sensors providing superb performance in such a low weight payload. Weighing less than 3 kg, the unique T-STAMP includes an IR Cooled (or Uncooled) Thermal Imaging Camera with a Continuous Zoom Lens, a CCD TV Camera with Continuous Optical Zoom Lens and a Laser Pointer. All three sensors are included in a compact 178mm (7") diameter payload weighing only 2.8 kg. This three gimbal payload is highly stabilized using a mechanical gyro, providing high quality day and night image capability not previously known in such a small payload.  Perfect for UAVs, VTOLs, Small Helicopters or Small Fixed Wing Aircraft, the breakthrough lightweight T-STAMP can be used for day and night observation for Law Enforcement or Military applications, support of pilot in flight tasks or aircraft navigation.  The T-STAMP is part of the STAMP "family" of miniature, lightweight, electro-optical, gyro stabilized sensors which were designed to be carried on a small UAV for tactical "Over the Hill" reconnaissance, on manned or unmanned ground vehicles or in other applications where a miniature and lightweight camera payload is required.

The STAMP payloads were chosen for the most important mini UAV program of the Israel Army as the chosen camera payload that can meet the challenges! The STAMP payloads are proven in battle and have been in operational use for nearly three years, and are now available in a variety of configurations for day and night operations. Also being displayed at the CONTROP booth is the
D-STAMP – a very lightweight daytime payload which is gyro stabilized, weighing only 750 grams and using a high resolution color CCD camera with x10 continuous optical zoom lens for daylight observation.  Also available is CONTROP's U-STAMP – Uncooled IR mini gyro stabilized payload with single FOV for nighttime applications and weighing only 1 kg!  The STAMP payloads operate in Observation Mode, providing real time live video.  These new revolutionary and state-of-the-art payloads are now flying on several different SUAVs worldwide.  The STAMP payloads are easily interchangeable, providing round-the-clock protection in a small compact package!

A-VIEW – NEW COMPACT AIRBORNE EO / IR OBSERVATION SYSTEM
PERFECT FOR HELICOPTERS AND LIGHT AIRCRAFT

The A-VIEW is a breakthrough lightweight, Day TV CCD or Infrared electro optical gyro stabilized payload which can be installed on aerial vehicles and is perfect for Pilot's Mission Support activities. The A-VIEW provides a new concept to the market of day or night aerial camera systems, due to its designation to aide the pilot in crucial tasks and operations and due to its low price. Ideal for helicopters and light aircraft, the A-VIEW assists in Flight Safety, Mission Efficiency, Aide to Pilots Operations, Assistance during Poor Visibility Conditions, Eyes in the Night Tasks, Clear Landing Pads Verification, Clear Tail Rotor and Cargo Hanger Applications.  The A-VIEW is also great for Observation, Search & Rescue and Navigation applications.  This lightweight 3.2 kg extremely cost effective camera payload is easy to mount and to operate and provides solutions which no other helicopter camera system can provide at such an affordable price. The A-VIEW is already in use onboard small Police Helicopters with remarkable outcomes.

SHAPO – NEW LIGHTWEIGHT MULTI SENSOR STABILIZED
PAYLOAD OBSERVATION SYSTEM

SHAPO is a lightweight EO / IR observation system weighing only 10 kg which was designed for day and night operations including adverse weather mission conditions.  The SHAPO completes CONTROP's broad variety of camera payloads' weights and performances ranging from 1 kg payloads to 40 kg payloads.  Already in use on Police Helicopters, the SHAPO's light weight makes it ideal for small helicopters where weight is an issue and a high quality day / night camera is required, thereby allowing longer flight duration time.  This three gimbal gyro stabilized system includes an IR Thermal Imaging Camera with a Continuous Zoom Lens, a CCD Camera and an optional Laser Range Finder / Laser Pointer, providing a high resolution image from a lightweight compact 24 cm diameter payload.  The SHAPO is ideal for most surveillance and observation applications including Police & Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue (SAR), Homeland Security, Force Protection and more.  The SHAPO can be carried on board UAVs, Helicopters, Light Aircraft, Aerostats, Armored Vehicles, High Masts and more.

SPEED-A – NEW PAYLOAD FOR SURFACE MONITORING AND INTRUDER DETECTION
PERFECT FOR TACTICAL BALLOONS

SPEED-A is a breakthrough high performance lightweight observation system which was specifically designed for aerostat applications.  This state-of-the-art three-axis Pitch, Yaw and Roll gyro stabilized payload is the first of its kind, due to the fact that it takes into account the rolling movement of the tactical balloon while it is tethered to the ground.

The SPEED-A was designed to answer a unique field requirement for a stabilized high performance camera payload which can provide very long range observation on this most unique moving platform – the tactical mobile balloon system.  Due to the fact that the tactical balloon is relatively near to the ground (500 to 3000 feet), the frequent gusts of wind and vast amount of movement of the balloon requires a stabilized payload that can provide a high quality stabilized picture, by day and by night, at a great distance.  Due to the rolling movement of the tactical balloon while it is tethered to the ground, a three-axis gyro stabilized payload was required which considers all three sorts of movement of the balloon:  Pitch, Yaw and Roll.  In addition, the payload was designed to be very low weight due the weight limitations of the balloon.  This allows transporting the balloon and the payload with great ease and getting it airborne very quickly.  Furthermore the SPEED-A provides the required target geo-locations, so that the necessary information is precise and immediate.  CONTROP is known world wide for the unique Continuous Zoom of the Thermal Imaging Camera, which is of course an important feature in the new SPEED –A payload as well.  The SPEED-A is already in field operation for border security onboard tactical mobile balloon systems, providing unsurpassed surveillance performance.  A major technological breakthrough, the SPEED-A provides the answers to balloon requirements not met by any other payload, worldwide!

DSP-1 – NEW DUAL SENSOR STABILIZED PAYLOAD
PROVEN AND POPULAR, WORLDWIDE

DSP-1 is a high resolution, high performance EO / IR Dual Sensor Stabilized Payload.  DSP-1 is a compact Day/Night observation system especially configured for use on UAVs, light reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters.  DSP-1 is a four-gimbal system, gyro stabilized in azimuth and elevation allowing the EO Sensors' Line of Sight (LOS) to be aimed and maintained stabilized. The system uses two camera channels:  a Thermal Imaging Camera with Continuous x36 Zoom Lens and a high resolution color CCD Daylight camera with x20 zoom lens.  The DSP-1 weighs only 22.5 kg and is easily integrated onto a wide variety of carrying vehicles through a flexible configuration suitable to any specific application.  Applications for this system include a wide variety of Military as well as Paramilitary, Police and Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue (SAR), Homeland Security, Force Protection and more.  Following years of operational and field experience, CONTROP is continually upgrading the systems to answer mission requirements.  The newly improved DSP-1 camera payload has an optional Broadcast Quality 3 CCD Daylight Camera and an optional Laser Designator or Laser Range Finder (LRF), as well as an optional INS on the Line of Sight (LOS).  The DSP-1 has a proven track record to the full satisfaction of all of its many customers, worldwide.

CONTROP's cutting edge technologies have been providing EO / IR products since the early 1990s, which are known for superb performance and outstanding reliability.  CONTROP provides some of the most innovative solutions for security, surveillance and reconnaissance activities used in the world today and CONTROP presents new concepts of operation with its very unique products.  Visitors are invited to the CONTROP stand in the Israel Pavilion Static Area R to operate several of CONTROP's unique products with a "hand on" approach.  CONTROP – Turning Vision Into Reality!
